DAY TWO QUERY: Thinking of all the excellent books by all the excellent authors mentioned yesterday, I found myself dwelling on the memorable heroes they've created. So my question to you - Who is your favorite hero (or most memorable if they aren't one and the same) and what is it that is so special about him?
I can't seem to make up my mind between Colin in Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, Phin from Welcome to Temptation, and Hawke from Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling Series even though I haven't even read his book yet. Oooh, and Lazarus Long from Time Enough for Love.

My first reaction when I read the question was Lazarus Long! He is hands down the most memorable hero of all time. Then I finished reading the post...great minds think alike. Also on the top of most memorable is Garion from David Eddings' Belgariad/Mallorean series'. They were the first adult level books I read and they remain a favorite to this day.
The hero I'd really like to get my hands on though is Chase from Victoria Dahl's Lead Me On. I'm a sucker for a man that blows things up for a living.

JD Jameson from Julia James' (hmm, never noticed the name similarity before) Practice Makes Perfect. Don't want to spoil, but the last 10 pages of that book show him to be both human and flawed and ready to sacrifice for his girl. The sarcasm helps too. Close second runner up would be Henry Tilney from JA's Northanger Abbey. I think he may have been my first literary crush when he started mocking Catherine's use of "nice."
My favorite hero's are Roarke from the "In Death" series by J.D. Robb
- what's not to love about a tall mega rich alpha male with an Irish accent? Then there's Adam Hauptman from the Mercy Thompson series - he's yummy and a werewolf and keeps Mercy out of trouble, I also like Curran the Beast Master from the Kate Danile's series by Ilona Andrews - his snarky humor and sex appeal is off the charts and he keeps Kate safe or at least as safe as she lets him:)

Well, I haven't read any of the books from day one, although I do own some you wrote but they are in ebook format and since my son dropped my laptop I am waiting for it to get fixed before I can re download all my books. But as far as favorite hero I love Jericho Barrons from Karen Marie Moning's Fever series.

I have so many heroes I love, but the one that comes to mind is Bone Daddy from RG Alexander's book called Possess Me, who is more of a spirit who eventually becomes whole but man oh man talk about an alpha male *swoon*.
There are so many i could list but the one that jumps to mind is Johnny Duane Reed from Cindy Gerards Black Ops book Whisper No lies. Such hotness and he thinks he's not any good for Crystal but ends up going after her anyway in the end. lol Love him

I commented earlier today but is seems fb has lost my comment. My fav hero is Isandro Salazar from a book my Abby Green he is a very powerful character and very determined to win but gets knocked down hard when the truth is finally revealed.Thanks for a great giveaway!

Just one? Adam Black from Karen Marie Moning's Immortal Highlander. But there are so many more! The earl of Lyons from Julie Garwoods Lyon's Lady. Quirky sense of humor balances sense of self. J.D Robb's Roarke---and the list goes on.
Okay, out of those you mentioned I'll go with Colin. He's my favorite of all her heroes. Yep, every single one of them. And Penelope is perfect for him.
I like SEP's heroes because they can be grumpy and pissy and obviously I like that in a man.
And I always like Jamie from Diana Galbadon (Heck, I can't spell her name) too. He's ultimate in the hero catagory.
And of course all of my own heroes. You should always be half in love with your own heroes, imo.
My memory has been like a sieve lately so I'm going with a hero from a book I read recently--Defiant by Kris Kennedy.
His name is Jamie Lost and he is so utterly dangerous, my heart starts racing just thinking of him. He was so fascinating...my fingers are sticking to keys.
First, would be Clay Danvers from Otherworld series...he will do whatever it takes to protect the ones he loves.
Second, would be Micah from Anita Blake series...he such the understated character, but is what any heroine would want in a hero.

I adored Colin from "Romancing Mr. Bridgerton", and I was totally in love with Lazarus Long when I was devouring Heinlein in high school. However, I'm going to cheat and say that my favorite hero is the movie version of Aragorn - he's smoking hot, gets even hotter as he gets grimier through the three movies, and has the perfect blend of scary/crazy battle skillz and utter humility (while denying his destiny to save the world). Love him!
Oh, and I should clarify and say that Aragorn is from "Lord of the Rings", but if I have to clarify that, we probably aren't friends ;)

One of my all time favorite hero's is Valerius from Seize the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon. He can be tough when needed but he has a real soft heart. His early life was so bad but he still has compassion.

Oh this is a very hard question to answer but if you put me on the spot...... Since I'm anticipating his book release on the May 15th I'm gonna say Ever from Eden Bradley's Midnight Playground series.
